Director Certification Program (DCP)

Provides participants with information for improving skills used in fulfilling their roles as cooperative directors. The four phases cover cooperative principles and practices; roles and responsibilities of directors; directors’ legal obligations; long-range strategic planning; understanding and using financial statements; and management evaluation and compensation.

 

NEW FOR 2018:  Along with the four phases above, we will also hold a one-day Refresher course for those who have completed all four phases in the past.  Stay tuned for more details and topics covered.

 

DCP is conducted annually in January. The next offering will be January 3-5, 2018 at the Hampton Inn in Kearney.  Each phase is a day-long program and will be held as follow:

  • January 3 – Phases 1 and 3
  • January 4 – Phases 2 and 4
  • January 5 – Refresher
